Upcoming MCC Classes

Spring classes are in full swing now, so I thought I would let you know what I have planned for the coming summer months. (Actually winter here in Oz)

Beyond the Basics of Memory Preservation (Begins May 5) $60 - this is a follow on course from Introduction to Memory Preservation (although it is not a prerequisite). You will have access to the classroom for 40 days. You may use your own supplies or purchase supplies from Memories from the Attic at a 10% discount (US students only). It will be a 4 week program crammed with topics such as:

  • Using colour effectively - choosing and using colours
  • Scrap-lifting secrets - making it yours
  • Journaling life as we see it - telling the story
  • Freeze-framing life - photography hints
  • Mole-hills & Mountains - scrapping the small as well as the big things in life
  • History-makers - recording the present for the future
  • And many, many more ......

One month, 3 projects (Begins May 1) $40 - Starting in May, I will be presenting monthly projects. 3 per month - 1 off the page item and 2 layouts. You will have classroom access for 30 full days. You may use your own supplies, purchase supplies from Memories from the Attic at a 10% discount (US students only) or purchase a kit from Scrap'n'Crazy (Aussie students only). The classroom activities will consist of:

  • Welcome flash presentation
  • PDF instructions for each project
  • Project Gallery, for you to show off your finished projects
  • News & Help forums

Introduction to Memory Preservation (Begins June 2) $60 - 4 week beginner scrapbooking course. You will have access to the classroom for 40 days. You may use your own supplies or purchase supplies from Memories from the Attic at a 10% discount (US students only). In 4 weeks we will cover the following topics:

  • Benefits & Features of Scrapbooking
  • Basic tools of Scrapbooking
  • Cropping & Matting
  • Paper tearing
  • Inking
  • Lettering
  • Journaling basics
  • Using simple Embelishments
